Tom Santos began Mortgage Originating in 1993.  He has also run Mortgage Banking Branches in Los Angeles and Southwest Riverside County since 1996, primarily originating out of the Temecula Area.  His mortgage industry experience continues to drive a well-balanced approach to originating loans while managing our Temecula Branch as of today. 

Tom has maintained Top Loan Officer and Top Branch recognition over his career.  Even as the industry morphs, his knowledge of the industry, products, and guidelines provides consumers with clear and concise answers.  Coupling this with simple options for a wide-spectrum of folks from a new first-time homebuyer to a high net-worth investor.  His passion for pursuing the best option for you – the consumer, is partially what has driven him to be the trusted mortgage advisor for thousands of happy repeat clients over the years.  He maintains, “My goal is to lay-out options via a spreadsheet and provide what is best for the consumer.  We start with down payment assistance and go from there.  I put my customer’s needs first and everything else seems to fall in-place.  This is capped-off by a smooth on-time 30 days closing with some of the lowest interest rates available on the market.  We strive to close on-time, every time.”   Tom offers vast knowledge of FHA, VA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, USDA, Jumbo, Manufactured Housing, and Hud 184 Products.  He has routinely been endorsed or preferred by the State of California – Calhfa, due to his down payment assistance knowledge and execution for 26+ years.  Tom has extended some of this knowledge to the general public by appearing on KFWB, KCBQ, and KTIE AM Radio over a 6 year span and these prior shows can be heard or viewed at www.mortgagemadnessradio.com.

Tom over the years has given back locally to families by managing and sponsoring girls travel softball.  His philanthropy has allowed families of players to be coached by the best, play the best college showcases, have the best equipment and preparation, and all without a fee.  This opportunity over the years, allowed for local young female athletes a local platform to gain acceptance and full-scholarship’s at major Division I Colleges, ie West Point, Purdue, Wisconsin, Villanova, and University of the Pacific to name a few.  In his off-time, he loves to spend time with beautiful wife and his family, loves fishing off-shore, and loves collecting baseball cards with his son.
