I am a first time home owner so I do not have anything to compare this experience to. Jon came highly recommenced by a friend and I trust her judgment. Jon is very easy to talk to and he helped us get our credit on track before we even got into the process of getting approved for a VA loan. I wish I could say it was an easy and smooth process but buying a home was one of the most stressful events I have ever gone through. There is so much going on and it's easy for paper work to get misplaced or over overlooked. I am on top of things and can get a little OCD so I did contact Jon a lot to check on the process. I think we may have bumped heads a little through out the process but in the end he got us our loan in under 30 days and I know it must have been pretty stressful for him as well. My advice is keep record of everything because you will be asked for certain documents on more than one occasion. I kept a separate folder with all my email correspondence with my realtor, Jon, and anything home loan related. We are happy with our purchase and Jon's hard work.
